Title: Clint & Brede
Post by: Tom on April 30, 2011, 07:50:39 PM
Get well soon boys! We need both of you for the Monday night Liverpool clash. Maybe this was good that both of them could rest today and have 10 days to prepare and rest for Liverpool. I look for us to beat Liverpool at the Cottage with how well we are playing right now and the run we are on.

Lads I'm not being overly negative to the management team at Fulham but I reckon if we were only a few points away from the bottom three, these two would have played today.  I'd be surprised if they were not fighting fit for the next game and to be fair it is in everyones interests - players in question get rested and the replacements get a good competitive chance.

You are probably right with your thinking. If we needed them today, both those guys are warriors and would have played.

It is good to know that we can rest key players for games like this and still come away with an emphatic win! Especially Clint who has done some airmiles for his country as well as playing for us recently!
