Title: Interesting read
Post by: tommy on August 22, 2011, 02:29:34 PM
Someone may have already posted this but thought I'd stick it up anyway. Attached is the league table for last season had referees not made any mistakes at all.

Fulham where actually one of the hardest teams hit with us losing 5 points through bad refereeing decisions over the season. Arsenal would have actually finished 2nd and Blackpool would have stayed up. Our league position wouldnt have changed but it would stilll have been nice to get those extra 5 points on the boards. It just shows though that in most cases it does even itself out over the season.

That's incredible that Man Citeh would have lost 9 points - were refs taking bribes I wonder?

Those 9 points made a huge difference to there season too. I hadnt thought about Citeh getting alot of decisions go there way but the facts speak for themselves. Thats what happens when you have an Italian Manager. accept if you are the England manager anyway.
