That's it then, he's been in England for 2 days apparently texting friends saying he's not 100% sure on Fulham and was hoping a top 4 club would come in. Newcastle are not a top 4 club but possibly top 6 and have offered much better personal terms.
Where did you hear that?
ssn was just on
well love him then, hope he flops bad at newcastle, dosen`t everyone they buy do that anyway
newcastle top 6... they were just in the championship. what a load of bollocks... we are top 2 if they are top 6.
could be alll rumours.

Again, the 'talk' factor of Newcastle being a top 6 club with 55,000 fans and a much better wage package will swing it for Ruiz. I hope I'm wrong but this one has taken far to long to go through.
Newcaste a top 6 side 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif
I have a bad feeling about this.
Well thats that then.. cant believe we have no PLAN B..
Newcastle have a track record of signing expensive foreign players who score prolifically in other countries but flop in the Premiership. Maybe we should be grateful to them if they sign Ruiz.

No, Newcastle logged the bid 2 hours ago, it was accepted by the FC Twenty chairman and made public. It was also made public that they had offered better personal terms and it was said the player was "interested". Ruiz has been in England for the past 2 day's, has completed a medical at Fulham but has said to be "mulling" over the deal at his hotel. It has now been said that he has been texting/talking to friends saying that Fulham wasn't really his ideal destination and hoped that a top 4 club would come in. Now that Newcastle has entered the frame, he believes them to be a better out fit, possibly top 6 side. Also the improved "personal terms" could sway him. A helicopter is on stand by Newcastle to talk to the player.
BBC Five Live just said they are sure Ruiz will reject NUFC and opt for Fulham
BBC saying that they are conident that Fulham will sign Ruiz and there might be more signings for Fulham :clap_hands:
No one knows anything regarding this.
Firstly the offers only just been accepted.
Secondly it's being reported the Toon have a helicopter on standby should the player wish to talk. Therefore clearly no terms have been offered or agreed.
Then there's the fact we've chased him pretty much the entire window, they're making a last minute desperate attempt to appease fans. We're based in London and are in Europe, they're not. There's plenty to attract him to Fulham.

and we have Jol who is well known in Holland so that could be a plus. i dont think there is any way we get him without Jol at the helm.

I'd prefer that they were confident, but I'll accept anything close at this point. :59: Hope they're correct on both counts.
SSN just said it is still expected for Ruiz to sign for Fulham

Sky reporter just said same as well though the threat of a "helicopter" does still exist to fly him north.
I will wait for the fat lady to sing only 2 and a half hours left...........
Problem is Europe doesn't matter unless we were to progress because Ruiz wouldn't be able to play in group stages because of cup tie. I hope I'm happily surprised..

Yeah but taking Ruiz from Twente would surely help our efforts to advance through
