Better to try to get Daniel Sturridge on loan from our neighbours.
I actually rate Crouch but seem to be a lone voice on this.
He is a good target man, holds the ball up well, has a good first touch, knows where the goal is, and can score with either foot and his head (although not at the same time).
Look beyond his lankiness and robot dance, and there is a good player there.
