I wouldn't play Ruiz or Bryan or whatever his name is going to be from the off because we hve yet to see him play. For his first outing I would introduce him as a second half sub.
Mr Lighthouse sir - why Stockdale over Schwartz? I appreciate he is our future #1 but would you make that the case straight away? I think Schwartz has another season as first choice in him...

I agree with the selction above. We are rudderless without Murphy.
Interesting to see that so many include Dempsey in their 5. I'll bet that Martin Jol doesn't. He'd be in my top 6.

I personally find it easier to pick four rather than five, and they would be Schwarzer, Hangeland, Murphy and Zamora. It's interesting that many of us are picking these four as our most influential players, probably not registering that they also form the 'spine' of the team. Its generally accepted that the best sides always have a strong spine.
