And who'd have bet on that?

There HAS to be something seriously wrong with that pitch.

Or the players. Didn't the Pakistani's recently on trial say that the Aussies were 'the biggest fixers of them all'?

First innings Aus - 284,
First Innings SA - 96
Second Innings Aus - 24 currently (lowest innings test score in history is 26)

The ball must be moving everywhere (they said something like that on the first day so its only going to get worse, which clearly it has). Would be a good game to watch at home though, always something happening

Cloudy.  One hour left.  Then three more days...

They've moved on to 29/9.  Their lowest ever score in Tests is 36...

41/9 - ridiculous though it may sound to declare at that score on the 2nd day, I'd be tempted, see if they can knock over a few Saffers before stumps.

Now they'll get their chance.  All out for 47.

That's 22 wickets so far today I reckon - what odds that being 25+ by stumps? 236 needed for a Saffer win, there'll be some serious questions asked after today if they get that many. Not least from the Butt household.

27 in a day is the record, apparently.

There's time to get 5/6 surely?

By today's standards that's only a few overs! Have a feeling they go till 4pm our time but might be wrong.

Just checked, 29 overs left, not sure they'll get them all in. Not sure they'll need them!

Saffers discover how to bat.  48/1 chasing 236 to win...  Odds shortened to 4/11 SAF, 11/5 AUS, 500/1 Draw

62/1 now - makes the two collapses of earlier even more curious

Isn't it a shame when you instinctively think "FIX" nowadays when something curious happens in sport?

got to admit I've enjoyed today's cricket,soooooo funny 064.gif 064.gif 064.gif
not a fix at all, the pitch is doing too much so the bowlers are getting much more sideways movement than normal thats why the wickets were falling,it was almost unplayable as a batsman-a heavy roller will sort it out the experts think 065.gif
