being that i am not all that computer literate can someone advise me when you make a quote from someone elses post how do you get in a box with a shaded background/
...alfie, just go to the post you want to quote, click on teh quote icon to the top right of their message and your reply box will automatically come up with their quote - put in your comment and post a reply as normal. Try it with this one...
And Mr Alfie,
Make sure you add your own comments at the very end after all those closed brackets and stuff, otherwise your comment will end up inside the box as well which isn't always easy to read.
