I reckon they all had the same "order" (i.e. strength of the opposition). Personally I find these types of statistics an example of the "you can drown in a lake of average 20cm depth" statistics...

Don't make nice reading does it.

Oh and we will drop a position  today no matter the result at Wolves.

Jol has also had the luxury of extra Europa games to make his methods understood.

                OR

Jol has had the problem of the Europa messing up his methods.

I forgot how crap we are at the beginning of the season.

If we had got the results we deserved at home to Everton and Spurs, the picture would be a bit rosier.

But life is full of "if only"s....

Well one thing is for sure, we are slow starters no matter who the manager is

So the difference between Hughes & Jol so far is Hughes drew 2 more games.

Of the 5 we have lost thus far, how many do you think we should have got something from on the balance of play (or would you normally have expected us to get anything from) -

Wolves - away
Newcastle - away
Stoke - away
Everton - home
Spurs - home

Based on history we should have another 4 or 5 pts from those games.

Wolves were on form when we played them- newcastle look good.

Stoke away is never easy,  everton at home we should have won and spurs at home we did everything we could.

We should have beaten Everton, and drawn with Spurs. Another 4 points.

And should have lost to Wigan. -3 points.

Jol is trying to change the age and playing style. Ignore statistics. Judge him after a year.
