Is Leyton a rough place?
Also how long is it on tube from Leyton to Oxford Steet?
Thanks alot :59:
Used to be. But I believe a lot of redevelopment has happened so I am sure it isn't too bad anymore. A lot of the old estates have disappeared now. I still would be a bit wary, especially in Temple Mills

More deprived than rough but also rough in some large measure...
Central Line is approx 2 min per station stop for that journey but will be hell on wheels during the Olympics
thankd lads!
It's a dump. Like most of East London. Head further north-east and it improves vastly when you get to Wanstead and Woodford Green.
I lived in Leytonstone for a while in 1995 and never had any problems. Mostly used the Victoria Line as I was working very close to Victoria Station and often used it late at night when finishing work at 11pm.
