can anyone help me i am havering an argument with a Chelsea fan over Stanford bridge
I am sure roman abramovich owns the club and not the stadium
can anyone tell me if i am right
and if so who owns the stadium
Think its the pitch which is owned by another group.

The pitch was sold to the Chelsea Pitch Owners, to prevent Chelsea selling the stadium in the 80's/90's.
Abramovich merely owns the club. This is why Chelsea have had such problems trying to move away from Stamford Bridge- the CPO have to agree to sell up to Abramovich, or Chelsea can't be called Chelsea (name tied to pitch).
