It certainly goes to show how much uninformed tosh there is in the media during the transfer windows.
News from Motspur Park is another signing that has not been speculated by the press will be made on Tuesday next week and apparently its a Midfielder from Italy but he is not Italian
Where ye hear that?

Umm ... can't be Pirlo because he is Italian. :49:
Most "news" in the press is generated by agents trying to sell their wares.

To add fuel to that rumour there were whispers of Gokhan Inler to us a week or so back on the web.

The same Gökhan Inler who cost Napoli €17,5m a year ago? Yeah, I think we'll get him!
Let's hope it's not Sulley Muntari guys! 096.gig

Clarence Seedorf? Miguel Veloso? We've been linked with both, and both are likely to leave Italy this summer... We will have to waut and see!

Would it be cynical to suggest that in a thread discussing the fact no one knows what is going on at the club, the poster in on the :hook:

I hold the opinion that every transfer window, there is a staff competition at Motspur Park. The winner will be the one who generates the most reaction to a transfer 'target' by way of quietly mentioning it to people who think they have an inside track to the club.
If this competition does not exist, then Ms Brookes should look into it at once, for it greatly amuses me every January, and summer.
Would be awesome if it was Radja Nainggolan but I doubt it.
Edit.
Maybe it's AC Milan's Kevin-Prince Boateng?

Most likely.
It's Michael Bradley. Makes sense as well.
Eljero Elia?
Very much a Jol player.

Please no, I watched him at Portsmouth a few times and even their supporters were peed off at him. How he was signed by Inter I'll never understand

would be very nice indeed but cant see it
He played in nearly all their games last season and scored some memorable goals, especially the one against Arsenal at home in the cl. Can't see them getting rid of him especially at the price we would want to pay as he must have at least 2 years left on the contract he signed only 2 years ago.

Same thing when he was loaned to Sunderland a couple seasons ago. He was VERY lazy and uninterested.
Flamini?
Muntari has been absolutely incredible for AC Milan this season after being loaned out to them by inter and has actually got a permanent deal there. Incredible.

Did you mean a wry smile Mitch, or is a rye smile something you produce after drinking bourbon ? :down_under:
Thankfully muntari won't be heading our way.
As someone said he's just signed for Milan but is also out for 6 months with a ligament injury.
Does anyone actually know who it is?

Haha, I pondered that one for a bit.
Didn't Muntari injure himself playing on the beach this summer and has just been forced to agree a 50% wage cut?
I checked on italian newspapers and didn't find news today.Bradley should go to As Rome and Seedorf went to Brazil.
I was slightly baffled by the Seedorf to that Brazilian team, although I hear that teams over there are paying silly wages now. Still thought he was plenty good enough to cut it in European football!
I can't get excited about transfere speculation , as I've said before 99 times out of 100 ,it doesn't come off, there are very few at MP who will also know and even less than that that will tell fans
There's a hell of a lot of research that goes into a transfere and you'll be surprised at some of the stuff the club goes into when looking for a player
I will only be excited about a player once he signs
Sorry to be boring but even if I was told about a signing, I'd respect the con fidelity of the person who told me and wouldn't let on
I appreciate people like all this transfere stuff, but don't believe everything you hear

He also encouraged his team mates to do the same.

If the Hadron rumor turns out to be true, there surely will be a field collision.
Very good LuckyLundy
Sorry lindy
I really don't understand why we would want him. Despite costing a fair bit he collides in the tunnel with the opposition and then convinces the keepers gloves that the keepers don't actually exist. Then he has the temerity to leave the field after a few seconds to a round of applause and for the life of me I still don't know what he did that was so wonderful.
Still I am sitting in a time space cantilever continuum without trousers who have denied my waist size, so who am I to talk? No really who am I and why am I trouserless in a world that is a figment of an atoms imagination.
These pills don't help.
I work in a research organisation and there is so much excitement about the whole thing it's unbelievable.
Oh yeah, is this a reissue of the legendary "He's going to sign tomorrow"-thread?
:fireworks:
If the signing materializes, it will be because of Higgs only; wait, maybe there are other agents?
