60' Sidwell comes off, with Baird returning to the action. Petric is threatening with some dangerous runs but still Køge hold firm #FFC
Only came on after 45 mins, can't imagine this is a planned change.
Hope he's not too bad
doesn't look good, even if he came off as a precaution it puts a big question mark against him

lets not jump the gun. there are hundreds of reasons he might have been taken off for, turning his ankle, dead leg slight muscle pull to name a few. lets wait for official report before fearing a relapse
Don't panic Mr Mannering. Riise's interview on the Offal said that it was a slight knock, nothing more.

Even a slight knock coming on the back off other unrelated injuries at this stage when Jol is looking for his best eleven for the coming season must raise a little question mark in Jols head about Sidwells availibilty when he has Baird, Etuhu, Davies, Kasami possibly all fighting for the same place.
So what's Sidwell supposed to do ? wrap himself in cotton wool? Too much reading what is not there on here at present
So Baird played that role? Interesting, and something I'd like to see more of.
As for Sidders, I expected huge things from him when he joined but he just hasn't done it has he, for one reason or another. Yep he's had a bad run of injuries but still...

I don't think Sidwell was ever part of Jol's Best XI - no matter how healthy he is.
sidwell starting tonight so no need for panic

Of course, if he gets subbed at some point, the injury rumours will probably return with a vengeance. :dft012:

yep, especially if he only lasts 85 mins out of the 90. everyone knows a sub at that stage can only mean a life threatening illness has just taken affect. probably will infect the crowed and other players too.
