I have always like Baird, a large section of our supporters made him a scapegoat for a very lazy midfield who gave the ball away constantly when Sanchez was in charge, I remember as most will the booing and jeering of Baird at many games.
These were the same so called fans who made Jimmy Bullard a hero.
