Y u no ah?
Fulham: Schwarzer; Riether, Hangeland, Hughes, Riise; Duff, Diarra, Dembele, Kacaniklic; Ruiz, Petric
Subs: Stockdale, Kelly, Baird, Sidwell, Kasami, Rodallega, Halliche (lol halliche)
Norwich: Ruddy; R Martin, Turner, R Bennett, Tierney; Surman, Howson, Johnson, Pilkington; Snodgrass, Holt
Subs: Rudd, Morison, Vaughan, Hoolahan, E Bennett, Lappin, Barnett
Nice to see Kacaniklic from start! 1499
Halliche????????????
Is everyone else banned like Dempsey?
It's good to be here, finally I have my life back....
Senderos isn't available, so it isn't a big surprise if Halliche is on the bench. I'm guessing that Bairdinho would get the call though, if a substitute CB was required.
Good to see Kaca getting a start! :scarf:
I'd stick Burn in ahead of Halliche...
Could have picked Grygera, he has played in some of the warmups. He was playing at Walton last week
I also would have picked Burn ahead of Halliche
yeeeeeeeeee, waking up and watch a Fulham game, there´s no better way to start teh weekend
COYW!!!
Come on Bryan!!!
Heard the "Dempsey song" but couldn't make out the words? Anyone else catch it?

Was thinking the same lol.
chat room open lads - beers are on Ed
Good start! Riether does well. Petric is just... important-looking.
COYW!
Wow, Bryan almost with another chip. Kaca really lively.
I'd really love Ruiz to score today, he could do with a goal at the start. cr flag
Looking much better.
Jol's sexy football looking good. Just need some goals now.
Ruiz has looked good so far, Dembele hasn't done that much as yet but a pretty solid and even start to the match. Duff needs to do more, much like last season.

Excellent use of the flag Mr, he´s looking good so far, so who knows...
YYEEESSS!!
DUUUUUFFFEEEERRRR!!!
I wouldn't have bet on Duff to score our first - it's good to be wrong!!! yee-haw!
Reither and Riise launching bombs over the Norwich defence.
How good has riise been in the attack?! Should have crossed to Petric for that shot but he's been a constant threat down the flank.
Riise almost a second winger.
Holt very isolated up front and a very vocal Hangeland the chief complainer...good.
I just love Riether. Think we've got our RB that we've been looking for. Keep it up Sascha! Impressive.
Ruiz is running like Bambi out there, slipping all the time. Is it his new "Bryan-shoes" :022:
Petric!!!!
Almost Ruiz!! YYEESSS PETRIC!!
Moving away from goal, that's brilliant. 2-0
IM SO HAPPY
If Ruiz had a right foot he'd be a sublime player. Petric on the other hand IS sublime.
MLAAAAAADEN!
Oh, and in other news: ZOLLY GERA!
Great first half.
Ruiz nearly put that free in. Looks like we have our dead ball player for this year. Nice start!
2nd best ht score.....WBA 1 Scousers 0 064.gif
So after 1 half of play...we are in first and QPR are going down!!! :011:
Great first half for Ruiz, he looks better than last year, Have we found the right position for him? I think so

And it's our very own Zolly Gera who scored a screamer.
Great to see Zoly playing again, one of my all time favourites
Even sweeter he scored against the Demps Molesters
Good first 45 mins for the start of the season. Think we are fortunate that we don't have one of the big teams to contend with considering we have new players on board, but after saying that, Norwich are no push-overs, so MJ should be satisfied thus far. Lets see what the second 45 bring by way of coping with the change in the Norwich game plan. CH is a wily manager, and he knows how to turn a game around.
Neat and tidy first half. Two goals that being Fulham could have been off side or not over the line but fairness actually on our side.
PLEASE - Let's not go to sleep in the second half. So far so bimmin lovely.
Great first half, and fantastic to see Bryan playing with a smile on his face. The guy is full of confidence and playing in his favoured position - he's gonna have a brilliant year if he stays fit!
i said on the preseason review thread that i believed bryan ruiz would be our player of the season. With all of this dempsey business, i think we lost sight that ruiz can easily take dempseys spot, he is also younger andd on a longer contract. We can use the money from dempsey to get a player to add depth and i think things are looking up. not that they were ever looking down
Very good performance and result so far, absolutely no complaints allowed!
And Gera scoring against Liverpool makes it even sweeter.

Agree, he´s more free to play now, he definetely looks phisically stronger.
Great first half for the team.
QPR and the scouse down. We are looking good lads! Think Ruiz will show his stuff this season, brimming with confidence.
FOOTBALL IS BACK
coyw
Ruiz definitely better than last year, but still looks incredibly lightweight and still doesn't jump for headers. But apart from that, he's stepped up a gear.
What a fantastic first half performance. Ruiz looks like he has an extra yard of pace due to his awareness being far better than last season. He looks like a man possessed. Has looked more like a 10 million pound player today than he did the whole of last season. Petric looks fantastic. Great movement and obviously has a real eye for goal. He is almost a poacher but with all the other attributes to make a great striker. Plus I thought I would mention Reither. He looks like an extremely accomplished defender. His positioning and timing of tackles look very impressive. Positive start!
Not one player so far who's performance I'm not happy with. diarra is a tank. Sitting in the garden with a beer and laptop on. Love it.
COYW
Always liked Ruiz, but, can someone please get hold of some of whatever he's on for me please? I'll pay good money!! Great stuff so far. Clint who?

He looks more willing to engage physically, though. Cant tell if Norwich are closing him down really quickly or he's lingering still just a little bit on the ball still, but he has definitely grown over the summer.
rodellega to come on in the second half??
Hard not to glow about all the Fulham players really, but one has to say Hangeland has been a rock and a threat going forward, Riise has played exceptionally and is causing them all sorts of problems on the left. Diarra, Dembele and Bryan have been wonderfully inventive in midfield. Kaca has been very lively. Petric is a real handful, Duff a livewire of fully charged energy and the German germanically solid.
Nogood "good to be back, itis" Boyo
Perfect game for Rodallega to come in and shine. COYW
Petric that's spectacular!!!
WOW!!!!!
Fulham have a striker!!!!
Pogo who??!!
Nice. Really nice.
WHAT A CRACKER.
are you watching clint dempsey?!
098.gif Swansea 2-0 QPR...
The original flight of the ball wasn't that great, but the deflection sure took care of that!. No chance for the goalkeeper.

True. But at least we are going for goal.

It was the

I'd be tempted to bring Rodallega on and slaughter them with pace.
Everyone's playing well though :)
BBC Final Score summariser Garth Crooks on Shane Long's missed penalty: "It was an appalling penalty kick. I would fine him a week's wages..."
I love British commentators. Tell it like it is. Very refreshing!
4-0 !!!!!! Yes!!!!!
KACA!!!!!
This is ludicrous.
ORGASM.
2 goals and an assist!!! What a debut....
Now for Rodallega to score...
Bring on Hugo! We need a goal or two.
What a goal... such a neat passing move
Swansea 3 up
Where is Hughes ambition
Disappointed to see Petric off, but perfect time to blood Hugo I guess. And Ruiz made a tackle!!

What a performance. Hats off to Jol, his team and the staff. All round fun.

Well we had two good halves of football. Nobody had an off day. Players looked classy against a blunt looking Norwich. Early days but so far nothing to moan about. That's all I have to moan about.

Zoltan Gera scores for WBA! good for him returning for injury.
The return of black shorts.
What a match by the Whites. Honestly everyone looked great, each player contributed, including the subs. Most players looked like new men. All the while, Mr. Ambition and his island of misfit toys get thumped, the scousers get embarrassed, and we are top of the League!!!!. What potential this club has. Any addition can only improve us! Are you watching Clint?????? better get pen to paper
Old Trafford next but I'll be reveling in this match all week.
Come on you Whites!!!!
What a game. Love the look of the table.
Realistic of the old MB must be beside himself with grief that we won. And that should also shut up Vincent Venables
I'm just so sad that we have to share top spot with Swansea ... oh, they were playing QPR ... all is forgiven! :011:
Is Realistic still around? Haven't heard from him since I lost my password to the old MB three or four years ago.

I know the Offal has closed, but this is not the place to discuss the offal or members on it, we are better than the offal and thats why we have so many quality posters. Personally, I don't want to hear banter or whatever from that MB, I don't like it and the majority on here don't either, hence why we are not on it. Cheers
Regarding the match, wow, just WOW!!! Well done the lads, well done Jol, fantastic signings so far, hopefully we can add just a touch more quality and we will most certainly win more games than we lose
I can't believe what just happened.

I have come back with half a head burnt due to sitting at the front of the Hammersmith end. Also wore the orange away hit...I look a right state.
Saw quite a few people with new away top on, think it looks really smart. Think i'll get one when i get paid
Anyone got some highlights, couldn't make the game but got the second best thing being a ticket in the Swansea end for the HaHa's dismal performance
