Senderos isn't available, so it isn't a big surprise if Halliche is on the bench. I'm guessing that Bairdinho would get the call though, if a substitute CB was required.

Good to see Kaca getting a start!  :scarf:

Could have picked Grygera, he has played in some of the warmups. He was playing at Walton last week

I also would have picked Burn ahead of Halliche

Riise almost a second winger.

Holt very isolated up front and a very vocal Hangeland the chief complainer...good.

Good first 45 mins for the start of the season. Think we are fortunate that we don't have one of the big teams to contend with considering we have new players on board, but after saying that, Norwich are no push-overs, so MJ should be satisfied thus far. Lets see what the second 45 bring by way of coping with the change in the Norwich game plan. CH is a wily manager, and he knows how to turn a game around.

Neat and tidy first half. Two goals that being Fulham could have been off side or not over the line but fairness actually on our side.

PLEASE - Let's not go to sleep in the second half.  So far so bimmin lovely.

i said on the preseason review thread that i believed bryan ruiz would be our player of the season. With all of this dempsey business, i think we lost sight that ruiz can easily take dempseys spot, he is also younger andd on a longer contract. We can use the money from dempsey to get a player to add depth and i think things are looking up. not that they were ever looking down

Ruiz definitely better than last year, but still looks incredibly lightweight and still doesn't jump for headers. But apart from that, he's stepped up a gear.

What a fantastic first half performance. Ruiz looks like he has an extra yard of pace due to his awareness being far better than last season. He looks like a man possessed. Has looked more like a 10 million pound player today than he did the whole of last season. Petric looks fantastic. Great movement and obviously has a real eye for goal. He is almost a poacher but with all the other attributes to make a great striker. Plus I thought I would mention Reither. He looks like an extremely accomplished defender. His positioning and timing of tackles look very impressive. Positive start!

He looks more willing to engage physically, though. Cant tell if Norwich are closing him down really quickly or he's lingering still just a little bit on the ball still, but he has definitely grown over the summer.

Hard not to glow about all the Fulham players really, but one has to say Hangeland has been a rock and a threat going forward, Riise has played exceptionally and is causing them all sorts of problems on the left.  Diarra, Dembele and Bryan have been wonderfully inventive in midfield.  Kaca has been very lively.  Petric is a real handful, Duff a livewire of fully charged energy and the German  germanically solid.

Zoltan Gera scores for WBA! good for him returning for injury.

The return of black shorts.

What a match by the Whites. Honestly everyone looked great, each player contributed, including the subs. Most players looked like new men. All the while, Mr. Ambition and his island of misfit toys get thumped, the scousers get embarrassed, and we are top of the League!!!!. What potential  this club has. Any addition can only improve us! Are you watching Clint?????? better get pen to paper

Old Trafford next but I'll be reveling in this match all week.

Realistic of the old MB must be beside himself with grief that we won. And that should also shut up Vincent Venables

I know the Offal has closed, but this is not the place to discuss the offal or members on it, we are better than the offal and thats why we have so many quality posters. Personally, I don't want to hear banter or whatever from that MB, I don't like it and the majority on here don't either, hence why we are not on it. Cheers

Regarding the match, wow, just WOW!!! Well done the lads, well done Jol, fantastic signings so far, hopefully we can add just a touch more quality and we will most certainly win more games than we lose

I have come back with half a head burnt due to sitting at the front of the Hammersmith end. Also wore the orange away hit...I look a right state.

Anyone got some highlights, couldn't make the game but got the second best thing being a ticket in the Swansea end for the HaHa's dismal performance
