Apparently, theres no Underground between Wimbledon and Putney Bridge on Saturday
Go on the Main line to Clapham Junction, then change for Putney on Platform 5 or 6. Only 2 stops... but you come out opposite The Railway Pub. Good place to start a Saturday x

hmmmm any other way to get to putney via the tube

Easily done mate. Find the Fulham Road and turn left, away from Stamford Bridge and towards enlightenment. You'll go past the Club shop, can have a drink in The Durrell or The Lowlands, walk past Tennis Courts and Bob's your uncle. Mile and a half, at a guess.

There'll be rail replacement buses to Putney Bridge if that's any help?

Yeah, 20/25 mins. White horse is a decent pub to start in too BUT there is also a limited service from Earls Court apparently so you might end up on a bus from there. I had to do it for the WBA game and it didn't stop anywhere near the bottom of the Fulham Rd and dropped me off at Putney bridge so be warned if youre running late.
I need to meet Mr Ska for breakfast in the Railway so Im going down to Vauxhall and accross to Putney main - a bit unchartered for me but a dates a date.
alright thanks for all the info guys
:bump:
