That their first win of the season will come against us, well some of them do anyway. I tend to agree that they are due a win sometime soon, old wobble neck has somewhat steadied their sinking ship with 3 draws but do they boast enough to turn us over next Saturday?
One bitter has predicted that someone is going to get spanked, could be them or us. Another moron has predicted that they will win both on and off the pitch so I hope there isn't any trouble!
The Fulham fan in me says that with our quality we should go there and own them again. We're good enough and they are poor enough for a 2 or 3-0 win on the day but that little word "Fulhamish" is playing on my mind again.
The key to this game is going to be our fans again. I hope they do us load and proud.

One way or another, it will all kick off.
We will cane them and they will be roundly boo'd off...
We need to stick behind the team, even if things are going badly. There's no point getting on the players' backs if we go a goal down. It would play into their hands and also confirm the QPR opinion of us as being fickle toffs and tourists.
I agree with SuperHoopNik: "Don't think it'll be a draw. Got a feeling someone's in for a right hiding...Could be us or could be them."
It should be them: we have better players and their defence is a shambles. It might be us: we're away and we're not exactly on fire at the moment.
I've got me tickets though, and I'll be there in a Twickenham polo shirt with a Costa Coffee double latte (spelling?) in hand, ready to give the lads a good cheer of "Come on, Tim!"
I am very, very worried about this game.. Monday night will give us more of a clue. If we fail to get the ball in the back of the net again the I'll be expecting us to get served on Saturday.
This one has Fulhamish written all over it.
As it goes, I'm just watching them on football first now and they are really, really and I mean really pelt!
Wigan should have won this game 5-2 but for some poor finishing and a little help from Green and the cross bar. Cisse's, QPR's second goal was complementary of a Wigan defensive error and with Derry and Nelson at the back, no midgield, they got run ragged without creating a lot up front.
Going by this we should have no trouble scoring against them, more than once! How many we let in the other end we'll have to see but this Fulhamish feeling just won't go away.
I've been very negative recently. I don't know what's wrong with me. Fearing the worst for next Saturday.
Bottom of the league on current form (last 6). Very worrying. Couldn't beat Reading or Sunderland and they are both rubbish.
Something needs to change. probably Fulham's defending.
If we play well we could win.
Just seen match of the day they are pony a makeshift Wigan opened them up at will. We WILL wipe the floor with this shower and it will be just the lift we need to get are season back on track.

Says all we need to know
I'm not confident of a win, especially after this quite frankly poor run of form. We are also missing Bryan Ruiz and Mahamadou Diarra and it is up to Martin Jol to figure out a way of replacing Ruiz without risking the vital goals of Dimitar Berbatov. Whether that's playing Richardson, Karagounis, or Kasami in the hole, I don't know, but I believe we should leave Berbatov up front to link up play and get in and around the box.
QPR have a good squad of players and for whatever reason, they just can't seem to gel. Under Harry Redknapp they have grown a bit more defensive in terms of their midfield trio and look to counter with Mackie, Taraabt and Hoilett, bringing on Cisse as an impact.
This game will come down to who will take their chances, and we have one of the best strikers in the Premier League who is wasted when playing as a number ten. Dimitar Berbatov is calm, and clinical in front of goal, let him have the chances and save him from the burden of creating. Without Ruiz, we must now rely on our width of Dejagah/Duff, Frei/Kacaniklic.
Monday will be interesting, a good win will set us up well for this game. As ever, come on you whites.
I'm reserving my judgement for Saturday until after tomorrow's game. A positive performance and a lift in spirits all around hopefully.

I agree, lets worry about tomorrow's game first and worry about QPHa on Tuesday.
I think A Humble Man's post in another thread is a wise way of thinking this season, therefore i'll think about the possible QPR result after we have played Newcastle. It seem's that most games this season could go either way unfortunately.
I have a vision of Dimi carving their defence open & scoring a hattrick, Fulham to win 2-3.
One things clear, those of us lucky enough to be attending must give it full throttle the whole game regardless of the score.
we've only struggled to score against good teams and Stoke away, where it is always tough to score. We will beat QPR 3-0 imho.

as should be the case for most of our matches, really. The trick is playing well.
Agree playing well is the key to all!
. . . and playing well for the whole game.
I think the bad run of form we are in is a false reading.
Last six games
Spurs H
Chelsea A
Stoke A
Sunderland H

The only one of those that was a surprise was Sunderland and that was a game we looked certain to win until the sending off. Also should have won at Chelsea. The others were always gonna be tough games. The next 6 games will have more bearing on our season than the last 6.
A few weeks ago I was hoping that this would be the game where we would win and it would mean the boot for Sparky.
Given that has already happened, this has got them to win written all over it. They have already beaten the record for worst ever start, so who best to end that against?
AAGHHHH!

No winning is the key not how you play.
Just put this stat on another thread as well, but 3 of the 4 games we have won this season, we did not start with Ruiz, so Jol knows how to win without him. What this suggests is with him we score more but concede more. It seems Jol needs to work out how to win with him, rather than without him!
To win any game of football you must score more goals than your opposition in any combination of scores. I discovered this fact early on in my football support and you can prove it looking at any comprehensive League table that show the points gained from each result.
More importantly, do we have a song for Saturday?
I like the TIFF suggestion "Stand-up if your name's Rupert".

I'm not a fan of predicting games or looking ahead but a decent run of form for the next 6.......?
3 points is a must tonight.
Confident, without being over-confident, for saturday now.
I was right and we played well and won though our incredibly dodgy keeper nearly gave it away.

Stand up, if you've won a game...
After our performance last night their confidence must be taking a knock.

Of course we do not know what will happen between now and these games, but I know we have enough to win every game. Obviously, I would not say we were going to, but if we played well and stayed strong for the full 90.....
