Title: Swansea next!
Post by: Jags on December 26, 2012, 05:42:51 PM
So another nail biting 90 minutes over & after all that we get a point. Really worried about Saturday now. Swansea are a proper footballing team with slick passing, quick wingers & a midfielder who normally scores for fun. Trying to be positive with Ruiz back & we can trouble teams BUT for some reason this defence is a complete shambles. Hangeland doesn't seem to care anymore, Riise just backtracks & never makes a challenge till its too late & the only place Senderos deserves to be is at home!

I hope Jol, his backroom staff & those lads take a good hard look at themselves tonight after another pitiful performance. The fans have travelled well this season but paying £45 to watch them at QPR then feeling for those who had to sit through 90 minutes of pain at Anfield then again today another relegation performance.

Time to change the record Jol, change the system & the tactics. We're too transparent!

barring a miracle, we will get smashed... ugly score.  We need huge individual and team performances.

We're going to get turned over. Jol has no idea how to send his team out against wingers, and Swansea has 53 of them. Swansea are better prepared, better coached, and better equipped. If we somehow get a point against them, that should make us team of the century.

Frankly, if we don't get someone in the coaching staff with some tactical nous, we're in the crapper.

atleast michu might be out.  maybe no one will be able to finish for them?

i have a weird feeling it is going to be a really good game on saturday.  the cottage needs to become a fortress again!  Would be nice to have Duff back and Hughes back in the team.  Baird might need to be dropped.  If only Diarra was fit.

they beat us pretty comfortably 0-3 at home last season without michu

Anything could happen.

We might get beat but we could scrape a draw.

If we have Diarra Ruiz & Duff starting we will win 2-1 if they are missing I think 2-0 Swansea

I hate to be negative but can't see it being a good result for us

They'll tear us apart. Some proper miss-matches in there. Thank god Michu is injured. But expect Danny Graham to end his draught against us.

Swansea schedule January 2013

Swansea V Aston Villa
   Tue 1 Jan    15:00
   FA Cup - Third Round

Swansea V Arsenal
   Sun 6 Jan    13:30
League Cup - Semi-Final First Leg

Chelsea V Swansea

Swansea are well assembled squad with style ,but they were not consistent so far. Hope they will underestimate Fulham and play at the Cottage at the low gear keeping power for the next games in January.
My optimism against them is based on team performance and spirit vs Newcastle showed and their inconsistency.
