The rumours about us wanting to sign him are still going around. Roy was supposed to have dropped his interest a few weeks ago because bigger clubs had come sniffing round and that had driven the price up to £4 or £5 million.
He is 27 now and doesn't seem to have done anything in his career or ever really fitted in at any club he has played for. He has played a resonable number of games for Rangers without ever becoming an ever present. On paper this might all make him a good back up to H & H but is he too much trouble and too much money?
