Have we become the leading forum online?
Terry's 1776 used to be a great chocolate assortment box, three layers, the middle layer was all very thin chocolates.
Well, seems as most people here have a soft spot for the "wearetherangersboys" forum, I had a quick poke there and they have 2,922 registered members.
Of course, size isn't everything, it's the quality that counts, and the FOF Mod Squad are very discerning and only let the cream of the crop in.
:008:
If it's 1776 at the moment then another 103 will give it a very significant number.................
should put a cap of 1879 and only allow further registrations if spaces are freed by inactive users :D
1776? Ah yes the year the British citizens in Americans finally refused to pay for the troops protecting them in the French/Indian war of the 1760s. Some 6 years later they, with the huge assistance of 5 other nations including the French, finally got their independence. Thats thanks for ya ;)
I'll raise you 1215, 1651, 1681 and of course 1879 as more significant numbers than 1776 :)
1776? Native Americans realize they have lost their land for good?
Last of the Mohicans springs to mind. Also didn't the cost of this war in America contibute to the reason for the French revolution started in 1789
