Today's weigh-in day.  Jump on those scales, wait for them to settle and note what it says, then PM me your findings!

Here's today's tip (they're becoming more difficult to create now!):  Lose your weight in a controlled manner

When losing weight, you are likely to start off with a big drop for a few days as your body reacts to a lower intake by using the reserves of fat stored for just such an occasion.  As you progress, however, your body starts to fight back by utilising more of the food that you do eat, leading to a slow-down in weight loss.  This is the point where many dieters lose heart and give up.  It is, as with many things, all in the mind, however...

Aim to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week to ensure healthy weight loss. Losing weight too fast can take a toll on your mind and body, making you feel sluggish, drained, and sick. When you drop a lot of weight quickly, you're actually losing mostly water and muscle, rather than fat.
