Title: Villa park today
Post by: LukeJennings on March 16, 2013, 10:30:07 PM
Hello guys, I would love to share my joy with you that I went to villa park today in the holte end and saw villa beat QPR!

Seeing as Yeovil had a week off and fulham play tomorrow when I work me and a few mates chose a random game, QPR were the best team first half even though villa had dominant possession and they could have been 4/5-0 up but Guzan was on top form. Second half was a different story after a late first half goal from Agbonlahor. Villa ran the show most the time and QPR only ever got joy on the break, was a great game and I'm glad that villa won.

Villa are there for the taking when we go there, all we need to do is close them down quickly as they pass around the back and across the pitch a lot and the home fans get easily annoyed, we need to be first to the ball in a few weeks and put in a real shift and they're not great when getting countered on an attack

Here's to 3 points tomorrow as QPR's relegation!

I watched the match with some minor interest. By the middle of the second half I was spitting nails. Villa couldn't get a call and all the dingbat announcer could do was talk about Harry. How wise he was, how he was gambling, how he changed his side. No mention, mind you, that Lambert marshaled his forces and had them come out for the second half, breathing fire. They chased every ball and even did a little Stoke action in the midfield. Both sides were poor but Villa at least was full of fight. I never cared much for QPR, less when they took Hughes and absolutely not at all since they got O' Brown Envelope.  They are 7 points short of safety with 8 to play. They have to win six or hit bankruptcy court.

Looked like a cracking match. In fairness to the Villa fans, they have turned up and stuck with their team when it mattered. Their support at Reading was great, and The Holte End looked pretty packed today.

That would of been a cracking match to go to. I was just following it on Soccer Saturday, and going mental everytime Villa scored!
