Title: New TOOFIF out today - and Roger Brown Raffle tickets still available
Post by: DLTOOFIF on April 29, 2010, 08:52:02 AM
TOOFIF 116 is out today (and not August as had been threatened!) - it's basically a celebration of our magnificent Europa Cup run, which is hopefully far from over! There's also an obit of Tom Wilson who had a fairly modest playing career at Fulham but who later helped to ensure that the Club stayed at Craven Cottage. You could argue that without Tom's efforts our overseas jaunts might still be limited to friendlies on the Isle of Wight.

And yes, raffle tickets are still available for the signed Roger Brown t-shirt...

Here's a further mention that I'll be flogging raffle tickets - at £1 a strip - before today's match to raise a bit of money for Roger Brown, or his choice of appropriate charity. To recap, Roger's been unwell and although on the mend now it's a slow process. Roger, our indomitable centre half from the early '80s, has signed a Cultzeros T-Shirt which bears a trademark artwork of his head (nice one, Coulio) together with the legend 'Try and beat me today' and this is up for grabs. [The 'pot' has been augmented by Coulio's sales of Roy Hodgson t-shirts: check out http://cultzeros.co.uk/ (http://cultzeros.co.uk/) and search for 'Roy Hodgson semi'.]

Simply pop along to TOOFIF Corner, outside the Hammersmith End, if you wish to take part. Should you want any further info, please contact me via [email protected]. Ta.

If all goes to plan, the draw will be made by Roger himself on May 6.
