I think now that Jol is signed for another year we will see quite a few contracts agreed in the coming weeks. Got a feeling certain players were waiting to see if he was staying and therefore wanting assurances about the direction of the team in the next couple of seasons.

Generally false speculation is transfer speculation and not contract speculation, so that's the optimistic part, but at the same time Goal has a horrible record. Which other 30+ player has received a two year contract over the past few years? I'd be pleased if he was given one but I don't expect he was.
I will wait until the official announcement as this sort of journalism is lazy fiction.
