Hi guys
during the closed season we're considering giving FoF a bit of a "face-lift" as we've had the current design for a while now.
The forum will stay largely "as is", we think the current format works, unless you think differently?
Its the other areas of the site we're talking about, the shirts/home page, http://www.friendsoffulham.com (http://www.friendsoffulham.com) , the Fulham stuff pages, http://www.friendsoffulham.com/fulhamstuff.php (http://www.friendsoffulham.com/fulhamstuff.php) such as the Foundation pages, http://www.friendsoffulham.com/foundation.php?fdtID=2 (http://www.friendsoffulham.com/foundation.php?fdtID=2) , wallpaper and avatar pages, http://www.friendsoffulham.com/desktops.php (http://www.friendsoffulham.com/desktops.php) etc.
in order to make sure that you'll be able to use the "features" we're planning we need to do a quick survey on what browser you use. We need to do this because Microsoft Internet Explorer treats webpages differently from other browsers, also I suspect that there are quite a lot of very old IE browsers out there.
To find out your version of IE do the following
step 1)
Open Internet Explorer
step 2)
From the help menu, select About Internet Explorer
Below are several examples of where the Help menu may be located - it differs between versions.

Windows XP

Windows Vista
Next to Version, the first number that appears (example: 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9) indicates the version of Internet Explorer installed on your computer.
so please let me know which browser you use, if your looking for a new browser choose anything but IE, it'll make my life so much easier :dft011:
thanx in advance
WhiteJC
PS we'll probably be asking additional questions about content etc.
IE Explorer? Isn't it illegal to use that browser?
It depends if I'm using my home or work computer, do you want me to do the poll twice? Also how do I take account of using Tapatalk on my phome?
unfortunately my work is still using IE7
I use Firefox on my laptop but will use Chrome on my new Tablet.

drop me a line here if using more than 1 computer (if your using different browsers)
Tapatalk works on both iPhone and Android systems, I'm hoping that I'll be able to allow for all mobile users for everything but the forums (tapatalk takes care of the forums)
Done... Just "voted" IE8, which is on my work laptop.
My home desktop is IE7, but it's so clunky generally that when at home I either use the work laptop, or my iPad, or my iPhone.
I use Firefox on all devices. Great forum, glad to hear it's keeping the majority of its current features and layouts.

Yes. It is a crime against humanity.
IE9 on the laptop, but Safari on the iPad
Selected Chrome, but I do use safari on my iphone and ipad
Selected Firefox although it's really Waterfox as my main pc is 64-bit. On my old 32-bit pc I use Chrome.

If you're using an older system, you might find that Chrome (Version 26.0.1410.64 m for XP) or Firefox would work a lot better for you. I use a range of computers, from WinXP, through Vista, through W7, also Apple and Windows phones and iPad, and Chrome is always my choice (don't tell the MCP team I said that though!! LOL)
In addition, you should always check your compatibility settings with IE.
IE9 at home, don't know about work though
IE9 for me...
Work -IE10
Home/Phone - Safari
IE 9 and Chrome
I put down Google Chrome for my desk top, but I also use Safari for my Mac.
i use safari on my mac , and mercury on my iphone and ipad :-)

IE is officially the worst, slowest and most irritating browser in existence, no matter what version.
Safari for me! Would love to have it easier to reply to peoples comments.

Truly. I can't quite grasp how someone can use it all the time, when I'm having trouble even when trying to download another browser.

I'm about to fall on to Page 2.
