Roys words apparently according to Sky Sports page:

"The deal is on. It was never really off but there have been a lot of problems to iron out," said Hodgson

"At the moment he's finishing off a medical. Barring any problems with the medical I expect him to join us from Monday.

"He won't be in line to play against Aston Villa tomorrow as Roma want him available for their game on Sunday."

...a little underwhelmed to be honest, but let's see what we can get out of him in the remaining 3 months, I wish him luck...

It will be good to have some extra cover in the PL and FA cup but I can not see him making a massive impact.

All our strikers are fit now so he would merely provide a bit more depth in the event that we get even further in the Europa League.

I would give a C+ for effort in the transfer market.

Well he's only a loan signing, so he shouldn't fail the medical.

I'm happy too.  Finally some youth/possible potential.

Can't be worse than AJ can he?

The Picayune reports that there are reports of Kamara going to Celtic on Loan. Hope this isn't true. Prefer Kamara than Okaka

and still we wait, these knees need a proper examination which involves surgery and examination with beer rays
