Title: Following on from my post last week.
Post by: The Swan on September 21, 2013, 09:12:14 PM
Following on from our dropped two points against West Brom I said that our next six games would make or break our season.
Chelsea away    0 points
Cardiff  home    3 points
Stoke  home     3 points
Palace away     3 points
Saints away     1 point
Man U home     1 point
                 --------------
                    11 points plus 4 = 15 points total
Got the first result right, I am hoping that the rest will be right as well. 15 points from ten games is pretty good. If we don't get at least three wins from the next five games we will be in for a tough relegation season.

1.5 points a game would get you what... 55-60 points over a season?  That ain't "pretty good" :p

Forget the points for the moment and concentrate on the goals as they have gone missing. Three goals in five games is deplorable.

I appreciate your optimism Mr Swan but even the normally weaker teams like Cardiff, Palace and Stoke have put in some gutsy performances this season. They won't be easy to beat.

But not surprising when you don't attack! Or if we do, we take about 8 minutes to cross the half way line.
