I was told at work once i was a robust employee and wouldn't crumple easily by our personnel person, not sure what they meant to be honest

I think it would be fair to describe the gent pictured on all your posts as a 'robust' sort of player (although other terms were employed from time to time).
Certainly if all our current heroes displayed his sort of attitude we won't go far wrong.
