Title: Liverpool Predictions
Post by: JIMMY D on November 08, 2013, 09:35:24 AM
Alright Fulham fans what do you think the score will be? I'm going with a Liverpool 2-0 win. Scoring in the 62nd and 88th minute.

one down within 10 minutes, 2 down on the half hour.
Liverpool rest 3 players at HT, it ends 2-0 and Jol says all is fine we drew the second half and have not conceded goals against Liverpool & Man utd in 90 minutes of play.

5-0 Liverpool and hopefully the end of Jol's horrible tenure

We haven't a snowballs chance in hell. The sore depends on how much of the game Liverpool wish to play at full speed but it is almost certain that we will hardly have a shot on target and will fail to score.

I think I will force myself to dream tonight of a Fulham victory with Berbatov and Ruiz at last coming good and tearing the Liverpool defence to pieces to give us a 3-0 win. I will then avoid all media contact until Monday and thus enjoy a good week end.

All I know is we're in for an absolute arse kicking, at least 3-0 but could be a lot lot worse. And probably no more than 1 attempt on their goal, compared with their +20 on ours.

Liverpool 3-1 Fulham

Seeing as we lost 4-0 to a poorer and more inconsistent Liverpool team last year, also without the in-form pairing of Sturridge and Suarez, I could see the game ending upwards of 5-0. As a few other people have already said, it's very unlikely Liverpool will chill out in the second half.

Worst case... they're going to tear us a new one. 7 - 0 Liverpool.

Best case it all comes good, we play a blinder and win 2 - 0.

Measured forecast probably somewhere between the two. 3 - 0 Liverpool

why don't we just not turn up? After all that's what we've been doing all season. Horrible thrashing I fear, 6-0 or worse.

Lawro's Fulham predictions have often come in for some criticism on here, but not this time.  His prediction of 3-0 to Liverpool looks uncontentious.   That'll probably be the half time score and it'll be cigars out in the second half as it was last weekend.

Shame we've got Liverpool this weekend as our second half upturn against United might have had a chance of kindling a change of form if we were facing a lesser team.

Expect it to be 3-0 with a Sturridge hat trick.

It's on Sky Super 6. I originally predicted 1-1 but then realised that was stupid as they have a solid defense so I went for 1-0 to Liverpool.
I think we will play well but unless we get good fortune I can't see us getting a result.

I think Liverpool will find us hard to crack open. They will fear us on the break and Jol will feel no pressure knowing that we are expected to lose against teams in the Prem anyway.

4-0 to Liverpool with the our first shot on the 78th minute and the second and last on the 82nd.

Why do you say that? Should we always say Fulham to win 2-0 when in our hearts we really dont think that will happen..but of course we hope we will win. But given our form its not looking good is it?

I support FFC as I did at Anfield when it was 0-10 and several other thrashings since.  I 'hope' with no conviction that we can get an point or three, realistically it looks like a defeat and if so lets see if we can improve on last seasons 0-4 and protect our goal difference

Realistically thinking, 5-0 Liverpool. Suarez's movement will just be too good for any of our CB's. He'll get a hat trick, Gerrard 1, Sturridge with the other. 3-0 at half time.

We had 12 shots (against Man U's 9) last week. Earlier in the season we had 13 shots (against Arsenal's 12). True lost both games - but we did turn up.

We have been playing better as Season gone on (albeit not getting results) - Southampton an exception - albeti not that well of course.

We have a habbit of turning up against the big teams. (OK, Chelski an exception.)

1-1

Keep the faith.

Even after a massive-0 drubbing, Jol won't be sacked.  We expect to lose these games.

We did not turn up against Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea... In fact, we have not turned up for any game bar Crystal Palace and 45 minutes against Stoke.

Lots of ifs, buts & exceptions here. You're not going to win this argument. Sunderland, Newcastle, Chelsea, Southampton, Palace (1st 45 mins), we were terrible & the improvements against United came after they brushed us aside & cruised to an easy 0-3 lead - the game was over.

I hate making predictions, but we are rip for a trashing.

Unless of course, Jol does the unexpected and picks a balanced team with  modern, dynamic tactics. We would still lose but would make it a proper match.

Highly unlikely!

If we don't concede in the first 20 mins or so I think we can nick it.

Otherwise, I would say a draw - a fully defending 0-0

Dreading tomorrow. Liverpool will be up for this after their loss last week and the criticism that resulted. We have been awful so far this season, with the exception of the Palace game and the second half against Everton in the league cup. If they score early this could get very messy. Liverpool are the type of team that could give us a real beating.

If we can hold them scoreless until half time and try, the crowd will get restless and we might get something from the game.

I thought it would be 0-3 last week and it was 1-3. This week I think it will be 4-0, so it will be 4-1. Logic!

After the first three Amorebieta or Sidwell will see red for tickling Suarez. A sweaty Jol will say that the sending-off turned the game and that he doesn't feel under pressure.

Long gone are the days when we could go to places like Liverpool and set up for a draw or nick a 1-0 win! We need 11 players working their socks off and normally we only have 9 or 10. It may have been seen as a little dull under Hodgson at times but at least we knew we would put up a fight. Now we don't even expect that. Very sad.
