i was speaking to a few buddys down the local last night and got asked this question and to be honest i was bait baffled into why i didn't know who actually was my favourite player due to are piss poor performances. However , i narrowed it down to 3 players .
1) Sascha - due to his consistency , however alot of people speak of his attitude now and that stamp put him in a bad light for me .
2) Kasami - Amazing work rate , runs around the pitch like paula radcliffe around the streets of london . Also , that goal still gives me goosebumps.
3) Boateng - Well , what can i say about derek , purely one of my favourites due to his daddy cool look and the fact he hasn't played enough to put a foot wrong 064.gif
Kasami. Easily. He's the only one who seems to give a damn right now..
Berbatov for me works hard.. runs at defenders.. never stops running! captains the side with pride! Scores world class goals! Mr Fulham! always telling team mates where to be! absolute hero! *cough* *cough*
I thought about the question and realized that all my favorite players weren't here any longer. If I', fprced I'd say Super K. I just like the kid. Also, Kasami cause I just like the kid and that goal..... :Haynes The Maestro:
1. Pajtim Kasami: He's come of age this season. There's a lot for him to learn, for example, dictating the tempo, incisive passing and dropping deep to collect the ball; but his general work rate and heart in the way that he plays is refreshing to watch in a team of OAPs.
2. Hugo Rodallega: Ok, don't laugh at me, but prior to Leicester I was calling for him to get his chance. His work rate from the front makes him a better foil for Berbatov than Bent and he's an actual aerial threat. Ok, he's technically not the best in our squad, but given the chance, he and Berbatov could be quite a dangerous front pair.
3. Ashkan Dejagah: He's not featured much, albeit with injury, this season, but I love his style of play. He's got a bit of trickery about him along with a knack of getting at his full back. Getting Dejagah fully fit and on form again could see our form kick on again, I have that much faith in him.
Must say, I do also like Derek Boateng. I think his style would suit us, and Scott Parker more. There's another favourite in Scott Parker, it's a shame there isn't more movement ahead of him to show his technical ability. Consistently one of our best passers of the ball.
Well, Brede is still my favorite Fulham player but right behind him is Sascha. I finally saw the stamping video and it does appear on purpose but more out of frustration than him being malicious. I love his work rate, and style of play.
Brede, has given us several years of good service. Been a real professional. Conducts himself well and represents the Fulham that used to know how to play football. His form has been down this season but I suspect he either has had a niggling injury that wasn't reported or was having some off the field issues with Jol or something else.
Brede because he is old Fulham and while having a rocky season I still think no one in the squad matches his closeness to the club.
Kasami because since his first appearance I have liked him and its a shame Jol banished him for 18 months because I think he would have been better than he is now if he had played more.

Probably Kasami, due to his work rate. Still like Hangeland though, through the great escape season and Europa league run. Legend
Moussa Dembele. It is the expectation.
...Stockdale...
Well, still Berbatov... (sigh)
Although, currently I am more excited watching Kasami, Dejagah and Taarabt.

If this is shexshy football, I'd prefer celibacy!
Off topic: LBNo11, I love your signature! :))
Ruiz. He's a graceful and hugely talented player. That's why it pains me to see him play so poor and due largely to being played out of position.
Really like Kasami but that's an obvious one.
Tony Gale. Saw him arriving at the the ground just a few weeks ago ready to give his best.
... Ruiz ... I know.
Kasami, Parker, Riether and Karagounis.
All put in 100% effort every time they take to the field and each has the ability to match the mindset.
in this order, katsami, hangeland, sacha, ruiz
I forget parker second to kasami
Kasami...
Hopefully Dejagah as he returns to full fitness.
Followed by Parker and Sidwell (all good sides need some grafters who give their all).
I should also be saying Berbatov (but he has kind of opted out this season, given what is going on around him) and Ruiz (but he is not effective out of position and with no support and not much time to think).
Duff will always be my favourite. Really liked Reither but he went down in my eyes because of the stamp, Ruiz, Parker, Sidwell, Karagounis
It's slim pickings at the moment, but Kasami stands out as a consistent positive for the team this season.
He has bags of energy, looks good with the ball at his feet and the regular slot in the starting line up seems to have given him confidence. He's been the only real bright spark so far this season.
The worrying thing is that I had to think about the question. Normally a question like that would bring an answer to mind straight away, but we haven't really had much to choose from this year.
Riether, Parker, Kasami, Brede, Karagounis
Brede and Sidders.
Parker and Kasami.
Ruiz (skill), Kasami (determination), Karagounis (all heart, wish we'd had him 5 years earlier), Dejagah (more to come).
On this season's form I could easily pick but hopefully it will also be Bryan as well before too long.
Liam Donnelly. Proper defender and gives 100% every game. That and I've never seen him lose a 50/50 challenge
Stekkers. We haven't seen much of him but by god is he a beast. Give him a year or so and I guarantee people will be comparing him to EVDS-esque performances.
Then it's probably Kasami, Sacha and Ruiz. Not necessarily on quality but pure likeability.
Kasami, Reither, Parker & Karagounis for the effort and comedy value.

Kasami. Easily. He's the only one who seems to give a damn right now..
:plus one: On this season so far, without question for me.
Brede Hangeland
Berbatov
Karagounis is my favourite, he may be 10 years plus on some of these players but if everyone in our team had his workrate and passion, we would not be in this mess... a true professional, always claps the fans and a really nice guy. His antics are silly but he has done it his whole career and won't change now.
Kasami has developed so much this season and is a cracking little player, he is a close 2nd.
Berbatov.
Parker or Kasami.......if i had to choose, Kasami.
Kaca, then Dejagah and Kasami
Would love to see all 3 in the midfield for a game, with Berb on the bench.
Amorebieta... Can't jump but love his no nonsense tackling
Sorry Brede, once settled he is the future
It's Berbatov really, but as he is not currently flavour of the month, I'd say that the player I've most enjoyed watching these last few years is Solomon Sambou. Not as fast or skillful as some of the other juniors, he provides steel in the midfield, works his socks off and distributes well. He reminds me a lot of Alan Mullery. I suppose the chances of him making it are slim, but I'd like to see it happen.
Duff will always have a spot in my heart, regardless of his current state, but it's certainly slimmer pickings than it would have been for me in the past. Ruiz or Parker are up there nowadays as well.
Hangeland
Kacaniklic. Great player!
But tbh Hangeland is the true Fulham Legend!
Have to pick Rodallega at the present timde. Never gets a look in & yes, erratic - but always looking to get in where it hurts & yes - as stated above uses his head! Apparently works well with Bent in training - but he who cannot be dropped always gets the nod.
Would have to add Scotty Parker, too - and he'll be fundamental in our revival - but Kasami has been impressive amongst all the dire performances this term. Looking forward to the revival of the Dejagah/Reither combination, too.
very interesting picks ! I'm surprised how many said berba after his slating on this forum the last few months ! I agree about hang eland however his form has dropped significantly :( . Also i love Dave ( Rodders ) and ill be honest he didn't even cross my mind !
Close tie between Ruiz and Hangeland, though on current form Kasami and Amorebieta aren't too far behind at tall
Over their Fulham careers Brede and Duff, no question. On current form Kasami, Parker runner up and honourable mentions for both the ancient Greek and Sidders because at least he gives 100%.
This is favourite and not most in form player we are talking about?????
If so not sure how people's favourites are Berbatov ( lazy and moans) Ruiz ( bottles out of tackles) and Kara, ( dives and moans when he gets fouled after rolling about the pitch which is very in fulham like)
But hey each to their own
Personally mine is Reither, Parker and Hangeland in that order with Kasami coming up on their tails
Surprised Kaka has not been mentioned, great kid coming of age. Actually runs at defenders!!
Duff has been my favourite for a long time , he has all the skills and works so hard, I realise he is possible being replace by Dejegah and Kasami but we can still rely on him to put in a good game when needed.
I am aware that in the next season or two Duff could leave us and I have an eye on Parker as a possible future favourite, he has the right work ethic for me.
this question gets asked every year, and my answer hasnt changed since 2008. Mr Aaron Hughes.
Kasami by a mile- he looks very exciting.
Apart from that I like the players who put in 100% so Riether, Karagounis, Rodallega and Senderos. Also Hangeland and Hughes because they are true pros. Oh and Ruiz seems like a nice bloke and is exciting to watch when he's on form.
I like them all basically.....just wish they were better footballers!
