Title: The last two games
Post by: mullers on January 14, 2014, 11:53:25 AM
One thing struck me about the last two performances. At Norwich Dan Burn seemed to have an uncanny knack of anticipation and reading the game. Against Sunderland crosses caused all kinds of indecision and this uncertainty was reflected in Stockdale's performance.

I remember when Keegan switched to a lineup that included three centre backs [Coleman, Symons and/or Morgan and Nielson] and suddenly we looked so solid at the back, not to mention the goals we scored from set pieces. Burn and Hangeland are perhaps a little similar, but even so as Amorbieta gets used to the Premier I think it might suit the team now - particularly with both fullbacks joining in the attack so frequently.
