Title: What now? What have we got to look forward to over the next few months?

There are a lot of very unhappy people on here at the moment, and while we are in the midst of sadness I think that it would be good to highlight some of the things that are coming up in the future. The best way of reconciling the past is to look towards the future, I hope.

Our tenth consecutive season in the top flight.

Plus the world cup will be good.

Our highest ever finish in the premiership is coming next season, along with a domestic cup win. After this season our players will feel like they are part timers.  :54:

1) Roy signing a new contract.
2) Some genuinely exciting and intriguing new signings - especially up front.
3) A new kit, new kit maker and new shirt sponsor that will show just how far the club have come.
4) Some imaginatively chosen and entertaining pre-season games.
5) Zamora, Schwarzer and other favourites players signing contract extensions.
6) An announcement on the continued development of Craven Cottage.
7) The 2009/10 season DVD.
8) The Fulham Review
9) Following the progress of Hoesen & Milsom in Finland
10) The return of AJ
11) Picking up more awards at The Premier League AGM
12) Kagisho Dikcagoi being one of the suprise packages of the World Cup
13) Fulham's annual awards dinner
14) The commemorative book of the season
15) The departure of some more of the dead wood as the squad improves in quality
16) The signing of some exciting new young players.
17) The announcement of Player of the Season & Goal of the Season.
18) Season ticket sales hitting an 'all-time' high.
19) Roy's punditry during the World Cup
20) Finally having the events of the last 10 months properly sink in and basking in the warm glow!

Another few steps closer to the the shadow of oblivion. The mindless morose meanderings of a few soulless poltroons saying that next year will be our year. The continuing struggle in the quagmire of hoplessness. Still .....

YES! That is exactly what I needed! Things really are looking up. I am seriously excited about getting some fresh faces in over the summer.

2) John Terry's next family member to be arrested
3) Bobby Zamora's Achilles
4) Capello still in the England job after summer so Roy doesn't get tempted
5) Fullers ESB everywhere globally
6) The Viz, The Fat Slags, Victorian Dad, Roger Mellie The Man on The Telly, Billy The Fish and Roy of the Rovers
7) MAF as the chairman and not the OAP
8) The lime green third kit (or anything but blue)
9) Gordon Brown to Scotland
10) a trip to Wembley next year!!! COYW!!!!!
