Charlton lost their chance of going to the play off final by losing on pens. Two things strike me here. One is Charlton were once a Prem Side who over achieved like some say we are and wouldn't it have it been worse losing on pens in our Europa Final than the way we did?
Success and failure are divided by very little.
Losing after penalties would've been much worse. We'll always take some comfort in knowing we were 4 minutes away from a coin-flip, which is definitely better than the feelings that come along w/ losing said coin flip. We won as a team, we lost as a team. Fitting IMO.
