He's a new addition to the staff list along with Curbs and Wilkins - another ex Man Utd coach... did I miss a trick or has he just gone by unnoticed?
Also, in the world of Coaching - is Rene really that big a deal? A conference in Indianapolis for his own coaching company to 1,000 coaches, which he sent someone to instead because he had a match - Makes him sound like a big deal..
Hope he hasn't been brought in to give us our last rites!

I am a football coach, and I'd say if you asked every pure football coach, if they could spend an hour talking to 3 coaches, who would they be? The usual names are Johann Cryuff, Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Alex, Arsene Wenger, Pep Guardiola, Louis Van Gaal, more recently Roberto Martinez, AND Rene Meulensteen. Amongst the coaching community, he is the most underrated in the world.

He's been brought in to work on our crosses.
