Title: How legit do you think Jim Whites tip offs for transfers are...
Post by: General on January 31, 2014, 02:28:54 AM

He has us linked with a lot of possible rumours - including Joleon Lescott and Nani...

He says it looks like Fulham HAVE done a deal taking Holtby on loan.

He also mentioned that Tim Sherwood was considering a bid - which would suggest the Holtby deal isn't a swap deal.

https://twitter.com/Sky_JimWhite - Not official, but again doesn't seem to be much crap around on it and he only tweets on deadline days.

Normally seems to have the legitimate contacts, and professional status and job to suggest he would be most likely to be in the know considering his job..

Chris Samba is also being linked, which would suggest, along with lescott that we are possibly in for another CB?

Fake account. I remember a few people from the PA tweeted about it, confirming that it's not real, when he first started tweeting.

the female presenter Georgie something confirmed that they use a LOT of artistic license on SSN Deadline day show. Its a TV entertainment show so things are hyped to the max to keep people tuning in, their viewing figures must be huge throughout the day. Lets face it, mostly, nothing is happening, if a player is negotiating that can take hours yet they still manage to talk about it even though no updates.

But it works, most of us get sucked in and I for one will try and watch, not for the theatrics but just the announcements that  Fulham have just signed another player, their 5th of the day, how  on earth did they manage to sign Ibrahimovic at 1059pm!
