I know he's coming off an injury but he looked terrible.
I was hoping to see some sort of spark from our new record transfer fee player but nothing!
Well Chelsea next week, I'm flying 6000 miles to see the game so I want to see a better performance.
COYW
He definitely isn't close to 100%, but you saw some class seeping out among the chunks of rust and 60% fitness.
He looked fine to me.
He got absolutely 0 good balls in the entirety of his play time but he tried to break up the ball to the sides as best as he could.
Unless ofc you haven't seen him playing ever, in which case I'll have to inform you that he's not a pacey striker.

That's worrying if you thought he looked ok.
To be fair, these ole team was garbage as soon as the second half started.
I can only remember one ball at his feet and that with a defender right on him. It all inclusive as yet. We'll see against the scum.
He is not 100%. he needs some time. That's the only thing we don't have.
yeah Mitroglou looked very bad but it's understandable he's just back from injury

Took a few balls down on his chest well and looked strong.
But he's not 100% fit.
Didn't think he had any pace anyway. Thought he was about power and finishing
If by "Mitro" you mean "Everyone" then, yes.
He has a valid reason to look unfit though.. Something I'm not sure I can say for the other 9 lads playing outfield.
I know you guys in england like your pace but he's not that kind of player, I realise he looks kinda sluggish but just wait till a proper midfield is behind him.
Can't judge any striker on that second half absolutely nothing he could do and on the same note well done Hugo. Whoevers idea it was to play balls in the air to him for the entire first half when he is up against two giants is a moron
You cannot judge him on that performance where the whole team was just trying to hoof the ball away from our goal.

The only way he is going to get a proper midfield is to change teams come summer. Parker can't do 90 minutes and neither he nor Sidwell are creative.
Find it harsh that your saying he looked terrible. He hardly had a chance to touch the ball and he's been out with injury for almost 2 months.

you mean when we sell him in the summer?

Ha. Good luck with that.
As I have posted earlier - don't hold your breath waiting for Mitroglou
FACT - a total panic buy - untried outside of Greek league - injured - how did he pass the medical ? Hasn't impressed in training apparently - Ruiz no.2 I'm afraid
Hugo did OK though
So, he is not a pacey striker, he has been injured......so why was he bought at a time when the team needed someone with pace and strength. Second question, why did he cost so much.
I fear he gets filed in the same drawer as Ruiz and Marlet before the season is over. I hope I am wrong. Maybe he will be the next Allan Clarke.
Look at the panic Anichebe caused our back 5 - he actually did damage !!
Can we wait to toss him in the trash bin until he's fully fit and gets to play when the side is not dying of exhaustion and hoofing balls here and there? Good heavens.

This.
Absolute meltdown after a draw that if we're honest most people would have taken. It was must not lose and we didn't.
Let's give Felix a chance.

actually I would have said a must win. one of our easiest away games left and we blew it. if we had any chance of staying up we needed to beat those around us. once again we have failed

One of our easiest away games, what, the Hawthorns where WBA have held both Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks? I'd like to think Cardiff away will be a lot more easier, but I'm sorry to say my friend, there is no easy game in this league, especially away to your relegation rivals. I personally think we got away with Murder today and gained a decent point.

well I did say one of our easiest. so if there are no easy games where will our next win come from? because we are not good enough to beat good teams, hence our league position.

I'd say that actually the must wins were WBA at home earlier, Cardiff home, Sunderland home, etc. All of which we failed to do.
For West Brom today they were at home against the bottom team - there isn't more of a must-win than that. In the first half we were better than we have been for a long time and then we faded as usual. But I did not see the game as "failed". We must win our home games against the bottom half teams, but I see not losing away as a good thing.
How can any player be judged when he touched the ball 4 times in 30 mins? Should he take the ball in midfield and pass the whole defense by himself?
IMHO Magath should have started with Mitroglou and sub him at second half if he was unfit. In the first half when Fulham was offensive he could have scored. In the second half everybody on Fulham was very tired and the goal from WestBrom seemed inevitable.

hindsight is a wonderful thing. 99 out of 100 it would be better for him to come on in the last 30 to try his luck at a tired defence. Felix hasn't been here long enough to know that we turn our third into a haven and camp in it for the final knockings.
Its hard to look good when we decided to let West Brom attack us for the whole second half.
