I'm catching the train
I have never been to cardiff before, any suggestions for a prematch pub
Credit to those who make this one.

Nothing close to the ground according to this. Keep to the city centre.

Flying into Bristol and getting the train from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff myself. The bus from Bristol airport to Temple Meads was an awful pain the last time I got it. It took ages. Hope we take a good crowd to this. It should be a good day out.
3 of us going. I think it will be a reasonable turn out for this match. It's a new ground for many and still a crucial game. between 1k and 1.5k I reckon.
Imagine if we could grab a draw against CFC and then win this one. Then we might start to believe. 049:gif
they have a tough trip to tottenham on the sunday before our visit so if we draw against chelsea and they lose with four again we will be above them when we play them.wishfull thinking, but it would be nice
Have been to cardiff pubwise stick to city centre and always found the locals friendly.

Not the Corporation Arms on Cowbridge Road -one of my scariest experiences of watching a match (the derby against the Jacks) was in there. There's another pub on the same street called the Ivor Davies, but its not 'our' Ivor. Possibly try Chapter Arts Centre round the corner on Library St or follow the advice here:http://www.footballgroundguide.com/cardiff_city/index.htm#Cardiff-City-Stadium-Pubs.

what happened at corporation arms?
The city centre is the place to be until you have to go down to the ground, which is either a twenty minute walk or a five minute train ride.
just bought my ticket! train only £7 return to Bristol and student ticket only £15 so a reasonably cheap day for me!

If you don't mind the walk, there is a lovely little pub in Sophia Gardens called Y Mochyn Du (The Fat Pig). I go there when my sister competes in a shooting competition every November). About 30 mins from the ground, but you get a lovely walk through by the River Taff (kinda like Craven Cottage in a way), past The Millenium Stadium, down Tudor Street, then onto Ninian Park Road, Leckwith Road and onto the ground.
When do you think we'll sell out our allocation? I want to get a ticket but doubt i'll be able to until the end of this week

I have sent you a message
It won't sell out mate.
Judging by the amount of tickets left online, you should be able to pick one up this weekend. We have a fair few left in the current block and one more block to sell as well.
According to the Club:
Tickets for the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 8th March (3pm) are available on General Sale and selling fast.
there are a liittle less than 200,and at least four tickets being bokken while i was counting how many tickets still for sale

Another excellent turn out and a brand new stadium to tick off the list...
It looks like it will be a sell out in Cardiff.

Nothing like a crisis to get the old away support up and running :dft011:
How many did we have for this one?

Block 119 hasn't gone on sale yet, and I'm not sure if it will as sales have dried up a bit. If we get a result or at least a good performance on Saturday then they might open up 119.
Don't think this will sell out unless we get something on Saturday. The cheap ticket offer for Villa probably turned some off going. We'll take a very good crowd though.

Packed with Cardiff fans screaming at the telly - the Jacks were winning 1-0. The pub was surrounded by the police 10 minutes before the end to stop the fans heading for the ground to get tehir revenge. Luckily Cardiff equalised in the last 5 minutes.
I got four tickets today and the guy said that they had sold over 1200.
they have opened up the other block now so looks like there will be a very decent amount of support
