Title: Momentum (and why we will stay up, just!)
Post by: Robbie on April 18, 2014, 04:10:30 PM
This part of the season, in our neighbourhood, it is all about momentum.
We could well not get anything tomorrow, but hopefully that won't dampen spirits.
Hull, Palace and Stoke have nothing much to play for... when we were mid-table in this part of the season we usually just gave up, hopefully they will to.

I agree, though Hull, Palace and Stoke haven't dragged themselves away for no reason. Each game is difficult, but each game is also winnable, especially with our form.

I'm not sure about this "nothing to play for" thing. Players, teams & managers have a different mentality to us fans. They want to win every game and will go into every game trying to get the 3 points. If Palace have a chance to send us down they will take it.

agree 100% with this Senor B, and if there's one team in the league that wants to give us a hiding, it's Palace. After we turned them over and crowed about it for a month, the players and fans will be wanting some serious payback.
