We need him for Stoke, he is excellent at doing what we seem to be finding impossible and that's clearing a cross. Just think of Old trafford.
Burn would certainly do the job on Crouch, whoever plays at centre half they need to aerially dominate the box otherwise we are doomed. No token jumps or bad positioning they need to be focused and concentrate the whole 90 minutes.
what he also does is shout and organise the defence something the captain doesnt seem to do

I agree with this. We'd stand up to Stoke's big side and, especially at RB, we won't be left open time and time again.

I don't think it has been any coincidence that when Burn has been in the team we have had a more settled look at the back.
I would love to know why he isn't getting any game time.
