Title: Fulham have now played
Post by: H4usuallysitting on August 23, 2014, 06:30:17 PM
4 games - fielded 22 players scored 2 goals and conceded 9 goals - are bottom of the league with no points.....1 plus point today Kaka came on after 60 minutes (we were already 2 - 1 down), but he replaced our left back Stafylidis, who by the way wasn't playing left back....also Voser made his debut replacing Hoogland (we were 3 - 1 down by then)......we were lucky Will Hughes didn't come on for Derby until the 84th minute today otherwise it could of been 10 - 1

Thought Voser looked decent when he came on, would probably start him from now on at right back tbh.

The point that we are playing so many players in so few games is significant. It's not about "changing philosophy", it's about not having a structure and a team.

The stupidity of Magath and the clubs 'plan' has really hit home now. Who really thought playing so many youngsters with no first team experience was going to be successful. The aim to incorporate the youth is laudable but would the idea of a quota been so ridiculous, say no more than 3 or 4 are included in the starting eleven. Its now reaching the point where its going to possibly harm their progression and definitely wreck our season.

Absolutely, and not only that but other than McCormack - to buy many players with no experience of playing in England, let alone the Championship is also a terrible mistake I think.

Yep and their being found out quickly. There are just so many mistakes and bizarre decisions being made I really cant comprehend it all. What really frustrates me is the experienced players being isolated and left out; Tunnicliffe, Kaca, Ruiz, Mitro to name just a handful.

It's going to get worse! The games come thick & fast & they don't get any easier. Looking at the fixtures I can't see us getting a point until Bolton on 1st October, certainly not why felix is in charge.

It might be later, Bolton will beat Fulham.

That wouldn't surprise me unfortunately, but Bolton looks likes our first realistic chance of points to me.
As things stand, we're going to be in another relegation battle.
