He did very well for us when fit-always gave his all.

All the best to him.

I really liked AJ, he was a great team player. As said shame he couldn't stay fit

The only team where he really performed was Palace. I liked him at Fulham, a good trier, but regret he never quite delivered due to injury problems and certainly never justified that heavy £11m price tag.

Love to see him stick a few in against the big teams again.

Yes saw this and thought all the best to him.  Always wanted to play and always gave his all, as has been previously said such a shame he was injured for much of his time with us.

For all his efforts, my abiding memory of AJ was the outrageous foul in the Europa League when he was clobbered by the centre half. I don't think the Russian was even booked.

Met his dad & bother in Holland before FCC Twente game, his brother was his agent & was gobbling off about what he was worth, bit of a numpty in my opinion. Couldn't understand why we wanted some loyalty after he been out injured for ages and FFC had paid him for doing nothing. Quite happy to shout the odds even with Ali Mac in same bar. Same night Andy got sent off late on in game for kicking ball away

All the best, not his biggest fan but no one could fault his effort

You wanted him to do well, but he missed half those games through injury.

Truth be told, my son is named Robert Andrew as some of you know, as he was born in 2009. Great partnership when fit, we had a lot of hope.

There's little hope my next son is going to be named Ross Matt-Ruiz Dembele the second or something or another.

Our best days are gone.

He was ok, gave us some great moments.

If he scores more than 7 Premier League goals for Palace this season I'll be astounded though

Never felt a connection to the player.  His effectiveness as a scorer went way down after he joined Fulham.  For all of that running, little result.
