Did anyone hear Phil Neville on 5 Live last night? He spoke in glowing terms of the club saying how we have always had a reputation for all things good in football and always playing good football. He just found it incredulous that Maggot had been appointed as he has no take of the club's culture.
Before the season started there was a general air of optimism. I was holding back after seeing Magath play Burn at right back up at Stoke in the last game. Last night's line up with 4 centre backs and Fotheringham was the most ludicrous line up I have ever seen in 61 years. :doh: Thanks to those who answered that claim last night!
