Title: If we beat Doncaster...
Post by: Toby Ward-Smith on September 21, 2014, 10:41:04 AM
I am sure that will give us the belief and we will go on a run. Thoughts? I hope it finally works out.

We need a win  BUT more than that we need to play the same basic squad - they need more game time together.  Ruiz for example needs to get match fit ....

Yep, I know the tendency is to chop and change for the cup but I think Kit needs to play his favoured LEAGUE GAME starting XI on Tuesday.

We must stick with the same side - maybe the only change Smith in for Hugo.....only because I feel Hugo must be absolutely knackered after Saturdays game....he hasn't seen much game time this season and didn't stop on Saturday

If we don't. morale will be rock bottom so I see it as a "must win" game

So right, lose to Doncaster at the Cottage and there will be nowhere to go from there.

A nice performance against Doncaster should set us up nicely for the next league matches.  We "cannot" lose to Birmingham City.

We did go on a run - we got a draw in the next game, and it was our best run of form this season

3 games, unless the rules have changed.

Thanks. Well at least he's served his sentence quickly. Back for the Brum match (if Kit rates him)

The Doncaster team are all 'man mountains'.

Running through brick walls might be on the training agenda tomorrow.

Success breeds success...

At the moment with our dismal run of form the team must be wondering when the next win is going to come from, and opposition teams will see us as a soft touch.

We need to turn the corner, and with that will come increased confidence.

It's important to beat them for confidence, rather than a Cup run.

Will Kit play a full strength side, although some players must be tired?

He may do, just to try and get a first win.

I believe it is 3 games in English football so that includes fa and league cup so he will be back for the Birmingham game

Just had a crazy thought though.  He is cup-tied so does that mean the ban would carry into the Birmingham game as he is not eligible to play on tuesday anyway??
