This week has seen Evans claim we had a team full of premier players and now Pieters infers we have a huge squad because we rested more players than he could for tonights game as he had a bench full of U21's well we had a bench full and a team full of U21's. The team on tuesday having an average age of 22. As we now start to get our season back on track it seems we are now starting to worry many of the managers which is good but it will mean teams coming orepared to get all their player's behind the ball when they come to the cottage and trying to get away with as much as they can.
This will not make it pretty to watch at times and it makes it even more crucial that we take our eraly chnaces to make teams change their game plan, if not we need to be patient and give the same support to the team we gave them against Norwich
Agreed. We need to score 1st as it allows us to ply when they open up.
Eight players of 22 or under on Tuesday.
Great spirit from the team.
COYW!
This is the type of 'fear' they should've had from game one. Hopefully we've got 'em all rattled now that the REAL Fulham has finally started to make an appearance. COYW!! Onwards and upwards!!

RM: A 21yo that had only played first team cup football until this season

CM: A 20yo that played U21 football last season
LM: A 19yo that played U21 football last season
ST: A 19yo that made his first team debut last season
ST: A 28yo with plenty of Championship experience, last season's top scorer
I'm pretty sure they could have rested as many players and fielded a team with more experience than what we put out at Rotherham. We've got a strong squad thanks to our Academy, not becuase of the parachute payments or our budget.

You're right - they are just getting their excuses in early.
We're doing great under Kit, but I must admit that I will not be entirely convinced that we have turned the corner until we get a few more convincing wins under our belts.
But it would seem unnecessarily disruptive to bring someone else in now as manager, unless we suddenly implode, which hopefully won't happen, and we will get better and better with Kit at the helm.

This is how teams played against us at the beggining of the season. Ipswich, Millwall etc... They sat back countered us and it worked a charm. I think we might struggle tbh.
