who made the effort to come down today before the game. It was lovely meeting you all, putting faces to those famous names. Sorry if I didn't spend much time chatting with any of you, I tried to mingle as much as I could.
Hopefully now you've got to see the real dannyboi you consider me a decent guy. After all a friend of Fulham is a friend of mine.
Apologies if anyone turned up but didn't find us in the pub.
We should do it again, it was great fun. I hope you all enjoyed it too.
You're a sweetie
I'd have been there if I could, DB, but have just moved and in a bit of a mess so didn't get to the match. Hope you all had a great time.
I was there but you didnt recognise me as I was in
disguise...Im a part time spy 3 days a week.. 051
Sorry I couldn't make the game in the end Daniel, I hope to get to the next gathering. One day someone from here will see me.
Good as ever to put some faces to names...
And after a dry January the Guiness was most welcome.
Thanks Danny for making this happen.
Ah Burt good to see you and younger Burt
Glad you guys had a good time. Well done DB for sorting out.
All the best :)
Thanks for sorting Daniel. Was good to put a few faces to names.
Here's to the next one 082.gif
I'd have loved to have joined you but I was babysitting a friend and his boy (and my boy) who were at the Cottage for the first time. Any chance of a meet up for an evening game?
It was great fun. I would definitely love to do it again. Next time the rest of you can hopefully make it.
As for an evening meet up, probably not as straight forward as a saturday kickoff. You could've brought the kids with you domprague, next time I'll give more notice.
Nice to meet you Danny, you were exactly as i imagined you (ish)
Nice to put faces to some of the other fofers as well.
And three moderators in the same pub (lucky they didn't need a light bulb changed, or there'd be a joke on there)
Sorry mate. Would love to have come for a drink today, but my dear Dad,to whom I was very, very close, died a couple of weeks ago and I have just got back from the funeral which took place in Dorset and I was not really in the mood for socialising.

Nice to meet you too mate. You were nothing like how I imagined but still a top bloke. I love the way you put (ish) about how you expected me to be. A good thing I hope!

The fact you're saying sorry to me shows what a gentlemen you are. Of course it's a shame you weren't able to come, it was definitely our loss but it's me that should be apologising to you. I'm very sorry for your loss and I totally understand your reasons for not feeling up to it.
Hopefully next time we arrange a meet up you are in the right frame of mind to meet some friends and watch Fulham play a diamond and lose.
RIP to your dad

Sorry for your loss Tony. See you next time maybe.

Thanks very much. Look forward to meeting up sometime in the future.

Very good of you mate. Greatly appreciated.
I concur and best wishes Tony.
For the next one Danny get some badges made. It was unsettling to be 'outed' so often in such a short space of time and I still didn't find out who the weird bloke in the corner was. Like Burt I had a dry January so a beer was most welcome and post rant I am having one now in case we get any players in.

I think you'll find that was me in the corner (losing my religion)
Good to meet those that I did, sorry it wasn't for long, but hopefully longer next time.
Very clever and way past bed time.
There was a mirror or shiny window behind you thus the weird bloke in the corner was Danny boi himself. I could not stop myself doing that typing thing whilst talking later on. It was a weird Tommy Cooper on speed moment.
Glad it all went well - well done to Danny for organising it.
I didn't go to the game - and don't go to many home games for financial, including fares, reasons -but If I'd gone I would have liked to have popped in to help bless the baby's head, and meet other FOFers.
I still have the problem that I know people by their FOF name but not real name, prob too noisy and I'm quite deaf, but that's ok at least I can put a real face to people posting and not imagine them as their avatar. Also apologies to Barrett for talking through the footcall etc. but I do have a habit of going on as others will confirm.

I'm the same, it's very hard to remember names when you've associated someone with a username for so long. Very handy to be able to picture the real face now when I type. I have to say I didn't picture anyone right in my head which makes me question what the hell they thought I would look like.
Do you always sit with Scalleys Dad? He's hilarious. If you're reading this Scalley Dad, I'm glad I picked a convenient location for him to bother coming
No I don't actually sit by Scalleysdad. He sits in another row near by. We have swopped seats ehen he has wanted to bring his familly along as I have two seats together. Yes I agree he is entertaining.

Probably a lucky escape.not sitting with him during the match lol.
It just goes to show how great football is for bringing different age groups and types of people together. I probably had little in common with some yesterday but because of Fulham and football it was a lovely day. I didn't feel awkward talking to anyone. All of you were great people

Ah Stop it you will have me crying shortly.. :012: :012: :012:
thanks danny nice meeting everyone.
Thanks Daniel for inspiring this meeting, it something probably all of us has thought about from time to time... it just needed someone special to come along and make it happen.
Normally I am a happy introvert and not always comfortable in crowds but there was a smell of Friendly Fulham as soon as you came in the door, a positive bunch of like minded people.
Should it happen again....... Absolutely!!!!

Thank you, I'm glad you felt that way. It was a great atmosphere and it went to plan perfectly.
It will definitely be happening again as far as I'm concerned. I don't know when but certainly at some point this year. Maybe when the weather's a bit nicer.
Hopefully next time the same bunch come as well as a few more faces.
It was really nice to meet you
Thanks for organising Danny and great to meet you and other FoFers!
It was certainly good to meet a few more faces from the board. Well done Daniel, top lad. Your mum and sister were really nice too (meant sincerely, no banter intended).
