Post by: mullers on February 17, 2015, 04:55:31 PM
Suddenly Fulham's decisions over managers in thefts year doesn't look half so daft.

If kit keeps struggling would you have him in the summer? Would like kit to stay on in some role if he can't turn things round but think the brentford manager has a right hand man so that would move kit back to youth manager.

Disgraceful the way they have treated him after the job he has done there.
All because he wouldnt sign foreign players that he hadnt seen play, well thats

What's the Moneyball route?

its they just look at stats, so a player may not be any good but he might on average cross the ball 7 times into the box a game which therefore will create 3 chances on goal so you sign him then you look for a Striker who scores one every 3 chances therefor the stats say you should score at least one goal a game, repeat throughout to to get a winning time

There a film by the same name with Brad Bitt, i know tough for you ladies, about baseball that explains it better

We have to try and get him. Worked wonders with no budget and a bang average team. With some funding, he could defo lead a promotion push.

Ludicrous decision. You've got to laugh at some of these owners.

Excellent summary on the background to the decision to remove Warburton:

http://www.wsc.co.uk/wsc-daily/1192-february-2015/12174-warburton-victim-of-brentford-chairman-s-ruthless-ambition (http://www.wsc.co.uk/wsc-daily/1192-february-2015/12174-warburton-victim-of-brentford-chairman-s-ruthless-ambition)

Does pose the question is this an interventionist route which our Chairman should consider?

If kit goes he would be there first I would approach if I was chairman.
As for brentford owners they must be mad.

He has worked wonders for Brentford and I feel sorry for their fans. The owner must be nuts. Having said that they are a long way from becoming the circus we were last season

QPR do doubt but if Kit were to get the chop there is no denying the good job he has done with Brentford.

At the end of the season - yes. The man has done wonders at Brentford with a hard work ethic imposed on the players.

However Kit must be given a little more time.

Waite a minute. Brentford are in about the best position that I can remember and are candidates for promotion to the premiership. Something there must be working well, any changes considered necessary should be brought in gradually and with some care. Certainly not the time to change the manager.
