Nicky Shorey has told Championship Nottingham Forest he is holding out for a move to the Premier League.
Left-back Shorey, 29, capped twice by England, is set to leave Aston Villa this summer.
He is wanted by Forest after a successful spell on loan from last November to January.
But Shorey would prefer a switch to Fulham in the top-flight after a loan spell there.
Fulham will move for Shorey if left-back Paul Konchesky, 29, who has 12 months left on his contract, quits.
Shorey has other Premier League suitors as well and is prepared to wait until late August to get a move to a top-flight club ahead of Forest.

I think that can only be considered as good news. Players WANT to play for Fulham.
I would take Shorey back to add depth to the team.
he'd be a great addition, but only willing to come if he's the number 1 left back and playing, which is fair enough. Atleast he isn't one of there players happy to sit and collect his pay at a bigger club for doing nothing.
