Vincenzo is one of the brightest young coaches in the world at the moment. At just 40 he's shown tactical flexibility, the ability to cope with adversity and success with three straight top four positions with Fiorentina, as well as a Europa League semi and an Italian Cup final.
From the outside, it's weird for Fiorentina to sack him, but it's come out that there was contractual issues. With the managerial start he's had, with stabilising Roma post-Ranieri, then a mid-table season with Catania which earned him his move where he did well at La Viola, he'll find a job fairly easily.
We'll probably never see him represent Fulham at Craven Cottage in a managerial role, but I wouldn't rule out seeing our lines cross again.
I'd have him as our manager like a shot, but heis destined for bigger things (not better obviously)
