Title: Fulham top half finish
Post by: Walsh on July 01, 2015, 03:39:11 PM
1000 on it gives 2375 back... Odds are pretty tastey.

At those odds, I couldn't resist. I have placed a Monkey on it.

You'd be better off using currency.

Debends what you're expacting him to do. Have his own cartoon strip in Viz will give you better odds than replacing Billy as mascot at the cottage.

Give me the same odds on a bottom half finish and I will put all my assets on that!

So when you win will you get two monkeys and some bush meat? Or two monkeys and a marmoset?

Those odds are indeed unfair for a team without any defenders! I'll lay £250 to your £100. I am serious.

Based on those odds 1 Monkey would yield 10 right? Its down to the individual establishment if here were to want to redeem a marmoset or gorilla in exchange.

Great odds. Worth a triple figure bet. I think we will be in the single digits next season. Unfortunately I think it will be 9-6 not higher but a great shout. Thanx walsh

Isn't a monkey £500? Bold.

What bookies are you getting these odds?

Yes a Monkey is £500 Hundred English Pounds.
As for your other question, let's just say that the bet is not one lump sum amount, it is spread.
You never come across a poor Bookmaker, they ensure everything is in their favour, so you beat them at their own game.
It's a right touch.

I do want Dunk if he will be a starter alongside Burn (But for some reason I don't think that'll happen).

He's a top player but I agree with what someone else said. £3.75m would be tops. You've got to think he's a good defender yes, but he's playing for a poor Brighton side that has suffered in recent years. If he was a key man in a top 6 side in this division then maybe £5m would be a fairer figure.

While he may have potential if developed right, £5m for him currently is a massive gamble considering FFP plays such a big part. He'd take a lot of our budget, Unless we got that figure back for Mitroglou and more from Ruiz, Amorebieta and few other sales that some may not want/expect - Roberts, Dembele, Smith etc.
