They get a fine but carry on buying players, Blackburn and I think Nottingham Forest have transfer embargo imposed on them Doesn't seem fair to me.

If true, that basically says that you might as well go crazy and spend what you want. 8m fine is basically nothing in modern football.
£8m fine?? But they made loads by breaching FFP to get promoted! What a joke...
Absolute joke. What a bottle job by the football league :dft007:
There's a vote at the bottom asking QPR fans if they think they will bounce straight back. 20% of the respondees are fantasists.

Surely this is a dereliction of duty??
All clubs are now aware of the cost of blatant and knowing rule breaking.
Look out for Boro making a bid for Charlie Austin over the next few days!
Complete joke, "take it out of our bung for getting relegated fellas"
I bet the teams who faced embargos for breaching are p*ssed. An £8m fine for Fernandes is nothing, but an embargo can put a team back years.
what a farce if true, ffp means nothing start spending khan i expect demble mk1 back and big fat contracts for emo and lvc
The football league probably know there will be a legal challenge for a £50m fine.....
They must be laughing all the way to the bank. They got a sell on fee for Stirling of £9 mil & are set to sell Austin for £13 mil if paid up front. Together with their parachute this £8 mil fine will be peanuts.

You're not going to like hearing this, but the Football League and the FA have a long history of favoring London clubs over those further north and south. This isn't in the slightest surprising to me.
Well let's get on the spending then as well.

Craven, don't think NF and Brighton embargo's are related to FFP.
I believe they are related to not paying transfer fees to fellow football league clubs.
So the penalty for spending whatever it takes to get into a league where the last-place club will soon take £100m in TV money alone is £8m? Sounds reasonable.

Blackburn, Leeds and Nottingham Forest embargos were all FFP related last December. Blackburn, Leeds and Nottingham Forest hit with transfer embargo (http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11688/9607552/blackburn-leeds-and-nottingham-forest-hit-with-transfer-embargo)

This is the 'expected' decision, nothing from the FL on this though (http://www.football-league.co.uk/ (http://www.football-league.co.uk/))
