ROY HODGSON fears Fulham ace Andy Johnson will be deformed for life after the horror tackle which threatened his season.
The Cottagers boss is still fuming over the 'brutal and cynical' block that chipped Johnson's collarbone during Fulham's 3-1 Europa League win over Russian side Amkar Perm.
It was first feared Johnson would be out for up to three months – but he has made a miraculous recovery. The striker is fit to face his former club Everton tomorrow but Hodgson is livid the foul did not receive greater punishment.
He said: "He was the subject of a challenge that I can only describe as brutal and cynical which has given him a serious shoulder problem.
"It's inoperable. He'll have to learn to live with a deformity in his shoulder."
